About Me
A top priority in life is to live happy and provide my family with those opportunities that may not have been possible when I was growing up. Lani and I have been married for more than 10 years and we have 3 children from under 1 to over 9 years old. As a family we train in Tae Kwon Do, fish, swim and play games! I also love to hear my daughter play the piano
When I'm not off having a blast with the family, I research tech figuring out what is next on my boilerplate for a hobby. Almost always, my hobbies include programming; automating scripts; or creating my latest and greatest idea. If you have sent me an email, and I didn't answer it, I may have to adjust that script :).

Professionally Speaking
There are so many goals that I want to achieve on this side of my life that it could go on for ages. If I had to pick one single thing to focus on, that would be my interest on bettering technology by bringing hard core experience and a continual drive to do the next task better than the last. Helping those around me improve by driving and implementing best practices that have been tried and proven over years in the past. Cutting the path that isn't the easiest, but always pays off in the end.
I really enjoy living in Linux/Unix, and love hanging on the edge. Writing code in almost every language at some time or another, I find I take better to the open source projects and frameworks. Ideally, one day I will be able to mesh the two worlds together, somewhat, and be a major contributor on an open source project; all while driving business value to my customers.
In the past I have been dubbed from a Senior Engineer, Senior Developer, Developer Analyst and I personally call my self a Web Developer.

What's Next?
If only I could tell the future, I can picture an image of this guy that goes to work every day doing what he loves to do in the platforms and frameworks that he loves to do them in. I have already conquered the first part (I really love what I do). So up next is conquering the latter.
